How to pick a date: Please book this session to happen at approximately 6 months of your baby's life.  It is best to get as close as possible to the 6-month mark so that your baby is sitting up (with little or no assistance).  If your baby is not sitting-up (a little propping is ok) within 48 hours of this appointment, please feel free to contact us to postpone a few weeks.  If your baby is not sitting up, your session will look VERY similar to your 3-month session.  But, this is your decision, about whether you want the EXACT time of the birthdate or the record of the "sitting-up stage."

Just make sure you don't schedule your session within 48 hours of a doctor's appointment with shots.  This can make a baby fussy or cause a skin reaction.

Sessions are held at Butler Studio on Fridays and Saturdays.   Some appointments can be made for special circumstances, but you will need to contact the studio to make this appointment on a different day.

Please allow 1 hour for this appointment time.  Often a 6-month session only takes less than 30 minutes, but in case we need more time to get the desired images, we want to make sure you are not rushed.
